These two companion one-act plays explore themes of grief, fandom, and family. In Graceland, two women, Bev and Rootie, both of whom consider themselves to be Elvis Presley’s number one fan, comically face off to be the first to enter The King’s Memphis home in 1982. The prequel, Asleep on the Wind, set 10 years earlier in rural Louisiana, reveals Rootie’s heart-breaking backstory and her deep bond with her beloved older brother and protector, Beau.

The SASS is back for Vol. 2! A collaboration of three co-directors lead a dynamic troupe of only six actors who play all the parts in the 10 scenes. Dead Man’s Cell Phone

A woman named Jean answers a ringing cell phone belonging to a man who has just died at the next table in a café, leading her into his bizarre and adventurous afterlife and family life, exploring themes of technology, connection, and mortality. This whimsical and farcical play follows Jean as she answers calls for the deceased man, Gordon, and becomes entangled with his family, mistress, and shady business dealings, ultimately finding a new sense of purpose and connection in her own life.
